Eerie Magazine

1978-79 terror chart review? Disturbing, creepy??
I'm looking for a specific journal terror plot in 1978-79. It was B & W newspaper and had several stories. Of the two I remember, one was a vampire and something to do with carpets. He died in sunlight at the end. The lots involved people who get their heads chopped off with an ax in graphic detail (spraying blood, eyeballs removed from the head). This magazine was along the lines Creepy, Eerie and others, but I can not remember her name. Any ideas?
The other title was published by Warren "Vampirella." But could have been anything published by Skywald … "Scream" was one of their titles. His material was not as well done as Warren, in my opinion. I do not remember lightweight titles. Marvel also published b / w comic books for a short period in the early / mid 70's. But I do not think that last long you cite. Also, were not as gross as you describe, although it was Warren. There were a couple of other editors in this field that specialized in reprinting 50 Comics Code horror before b / n. I never read them, so I'd have trouble coming up with titles. But I do not think this is published at the end of play either. amended) Other Skywald titles were "Psycho" (January 71 – # 24 March '75) and "Nightmare" (December 70 – # 23 February '75). Cry ran from August '73 – # 11 February '75. He also published two issues of "Hell-Rider", September and October 71, a "sort of" Ghost Rider comic style mag. All 8.5 x 11 numbers, all b / ww / color covers. If you are unsure of the year publication, then we may well be talking about some of Warren, as most of my presentation is to journals from the beginning in 64 to around mid 70's. But most of the stories I remember were not as graphic as you describe -. Marvel can not be, as his only line was extended from 73 75.
